LoMoCoin Tutorial for Wallet Use

1. Wallet Download

2. Wallet Profile

After the download is complete open the wallet. The profile of the wallet can be seen below:

3. LoMoCoin Withdrawal

1、Click “send coins” in the menu bar and the screen above will appear

2、Copy the receiver's LoMoCoin (LMC) address to the address bar. After that click on what is displayed at number 2 to open your Address Book

3、 You can add labels to the transfers you make and save these in the Address Book, as can be seen above

4、 Enter the amount you like to transfer

5、Click “Send” to complete the withdrawal. If you have set a transaction password, then before sending enter this password.

4. LMC Deposit

Click “Receive coins” and enter your own address page.

1、You have the option here to label each address in order to track the parties that send you the LMC

2、Add a new address, each wallet can create an overview of multiple addresses.

     1) Add an address and label the description

     2) Click “OK” if you are finished

3、In order to generate a QR code of the corresponding address, click on a specific address and then click on “display QR code”

A random QR code will the disappear. After scanning, you can read the address.

1) Request payment, you can add the amount of payment information into the QR code

2) Displays the label for this address which you can edit

3) After checking the “Payment request”, you can add the amount of payment here

4) Here you can add a message.

5) As you finish click “Save As”. Your QR code is then saved and can be send to others

5. Billing Inquiries

Click on “Transactions”, where you can see the historical transaction records of your wallet. Your Proof of Stake (POS) interest can also be found here

1.The checked green items suggest that the transaction has successfully been executed, as it has been identified on the chain of nodes. For example, the interest received in (1) has been confirmed by each node and successfully obtained by the wallet holder. You can check the details after double clicking on this transaction, as can be seen below:

2. A gray item (see 2) without a green checkmark or with a question mark suggest that the transaction has not been received by the block, or six confirmations have not yet been received. The transaction has therefore failed. You can check the details after double clicking on this specific transaction, as can be seen below:

6. Address Management

Click the “Address Book” button in order to manage the addresses you have.

7. Security Settings

1、Wallet backup

Click on ‘File’ in the top left screen and then click on “Backup Wallet”. This allows you to backup the current wallet information (private key + all other relevant wallet information) to your computer, as you can see below:

1) Give a name to the file you like to back up

2) Click the Save button and complete the backup

We want to remind you that if your wallet will have a new address then please backup your wallet again. We also recommend you to save your backup safely and do not share it with others. Otherwise, it may lead to a huge loss to your LMC!

2、Wallet Encryption

Click settings in the top left corner and then click on “Encryption Wallet”. Here you can add a transaction password to the wallet. After adding a transaction password, you need to enter the transaction password every time you make a transaction. If you do not add a transaction password, anyone using your computer could withdraw your LMC.

3、Transaction Fee

Click “Settings” in the top left corner and then click “Option”. Note that for the Mac you need to go to ‘lomocoin Qt’ and then click on ‘preferences

Higher transaction costs allow the transaction to be more easily processed by the nodes

8. POS Interest

1、Without transaction password

Users who have not set a transaction password, as long as you deposit LMC into your wallet ensure that the wallet program is opened and that your computer is in the boot state. You can start minting when the wallet has been successfully setup, in order for you to obtain POS interest. The longer LMC remains in your wallet, the higher the success rate is of participation in packaging.

2、With transaction password

If you have set a transaction password for your wallet you need to go to your debug window (in your top left corner) and write some commands, so that it allows the wallet to start minting.

Click Help and then click “Debug window”. Open the Debug window and go to console, as can be seen below:

In the input box on the bottom of the screen, enter the following command:【walletpassphrase [mintonly]】

Command Description

The transaction password

Timeout (in seconds). After this amount of time, you need to rewrite these commands.

[mintonly]; After entering “true”, you can unlock the wallet to participate in the minting. If you start this process, you still need to enter the transaction password to ensure the safety of the wallet.

As an example, if my wallet transaction password is 123456789 and I want the wallet to participate in minting for 10,000 seconds. I need to enter the following command: walletpassphrase 123456789 10000 true

9. Wallet Data Reset

If the wallet data has not synchronized, updated or you have any other related problems, you can use the following methods to reset your data:

1、For Windows wallets

1) Display hidden files (including hidden files for the system)

Open any “Windows” window and click the steps above:

1) Cancel the hidden button of the first red box and checkmark the hide button of the second red box and then click OK

2) In the address bar enter the following:

C: \ Users \ computer user name \ AppData \ Roaming \ LoMoCoin, where the computer's username needs to be replaced with your current computer's username.

3) Delete all the files in the folder you see next. Except for the [wallet.dat] file, this must not be deleted!

4) Thereafter, close the folder and restart the wallet. This will allow you to synchronize the latest data.

2、Mac wallet

1) Click the right button and click “Finder”. Thereafter click on【Go to folder】

2) In the following window, copy the following address /Users/computer user name/Library/ApplicationSupport/LoMoCoin, where the computer's username needs to be replaced with your computer’s name

3) Delete all the files in the folder you see next. Except for the [wallet.dat] file, this must not be deleted!

4) Thereafter, close the folder and restart the wallet. This will allow you to synchronize the latest data.
